Qurata Terms of Service

These terms govern a merchant's use of Qurata. By installing or using the app, the merchant authorizes Qurata to provide the service and process data as described below and in our Privacy Policy.

Service

Qurata analyzes product catalogs, helps merchants publish coordinated looks, renders the Complete the Look storefront widget, and reports engagement and attributed revenue. Merchants control which looks are published and remain responsible for product accuracy, availability, merchandising decisions, and their storefront content.

Billing

Paid plans, trials, renewals, changes, and cancellations are administered through Shopify. Current prices and included usage are shown on Shopify's hosted pricing page before a merchant approves a charge. Removing the app does not retroactively refund charges except where required by law or Shopify policy.

Merchant data-processing terms

For personal data submitted through a merchant's Shopify store, the merchant acts as data controller and Qurata acts as processor. Qurata will process that data only on the merchant's documented instructions embodied in these terms, solely to provide and secure the service, and subject to confidentiality and access controls.

The merchant authorizes Shopify and Google Cloud as subprocessors. OpenAI processes only merchant-provided product content for catalog analysis and optional styled-look generation; Qurata does not send customer identity or order information to OpenAI. Qurata will impose appropriate data-protection obligations on subprocessors, assist with applicable data subject requests, notify merchants of material security incidents as required by law, and delete tenant data in response to Shopify's mandatory shop-redaction workflow.

Acceptable use and availability

Merchants must use Qurata lawfully and must not attempt to disrupt the service, bypass usage limits, or submit content they lack the right to process. The service may change as we improve it and may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance or events outside our reasonable control.

Warranty and liability

Qurata provides merchandising assistance, not a guarantee of sales or fashion outcomes. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided without implied warranties, and Qurata is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses.
